[Dec. 9, 2021] Goongbe, a premium naturalistic skincare brand, announced that five of its products have won five awards at the 2021 Hwahae Beauty Awards.

The Hwahae Beauty Awards, which was held for the 7th time this year, is Korea’s largest beauty award held by Hwahae, the top beauty app in Korea, based on the real reviews and ratings left by 10 million Hwahae users. In this year's award, Hwahae analyzed 1.6 million data entries accumulated in the last year and established Best New Product Award for the first and second half of the year. Products that ranked 1st for three times or more at the Hwahae Beauty Awards also were awarded with the 2021 Hall of Fame.

Goongbe won awards in five categories this year. The winners of the 2021 Hwahae Beauty Awards include: Soothing Powder (Hall of Fame in the Baby & Mom: Powder category); Waterful Sun Lotion (1st in the Baby & Mom: Sun Cream/Lotion category); Moisture Sun Cushion; Fresh Sun Stick (3rd in the Baby & Mom: Sun Stick category); and Shampoo & Bath (3rd in the Baby & Mom: Cleanser/Wash category).

In particular, Goongbe Soothing Powder won first place in the Baby & Mom: Powder category at the Hwahae Beauty Awards for three consecutive years, putting its name on the Hall of Fame. The Soothing Powder is a pressed sun powder that creates a fresh and matte surface on the sweaty and sticky skin without messy loose powder residues. It is talc-free powder made with vegetable starch such rice and corn, which is gentle on sensitive skin.

In addition, the brand’s flagship product Shampoo & Bath is a hypoallergenic shampoo and bath wash that contains a naturally derived cleansing agent that creates large bubbles that are loosely held for mild cleansing and quick rinsing. It passed a skin irritation test on sensitive skin and animal-free eye irritation test. The hypoallergenic formula that is free of allergens minimize skin irritation caused by bathing. It also contains oat kernel oil that keeps the skin moist after cleansing.

In addition to this, the sun care line including Waterful Sun Lotion, Moisture Sun Cushion, and Fresh Sun Stick won three awards in the Baby & Mom: Sun Care category, proving Goongbe’s position as a leading clean sun care brand.
