[Goongbe wins at the 2023 Korea National Brand Awards in the Baby Skincare category for the fifth consecutive year]
Goongbe, a skincare brand specializing in products designed for delicate baby skin, was awarded at the 2023 Korea National Brand Awards (K-NBA) in the Baby Skincare category for the fifth consecutive year.
The K-NBA, which was held for the 14th time this year, is a prestigious award that determines the best brands that represent the Republic of Korea in order to strengthen national competitiveness and improve national status. The screening is based on the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI), which is scored fairly based on the real reviews left by consumers in areas such as brand awareness, representativeness, customer satisfaction, and global competitiveness.
Goongbe received outstanding scores in all areas of the NBCI, winning the honor of being the best brand in the baby skincare category for five consecutive years. The dominant opinion was that the high consumer confidence in Goongbe concerning its product quality and safety was the driving force behind its global competitiveness.
The flagship line of Goongbe, Pri-mmune, is formulated with the proprietary patented Royal Oji Complex™[1] ingredient, which provides special skincare benefits essential for delicate baby skin. The product is free of allergens designated by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the European Union. It features a food-graded fragrance and has passed a range of quality tests with global standards, including dermatological and hypoallergenic tests, allergy tests, and animal-free eye irritation tests.
The brand has been securing its position as a leader of the global premium baby skincare market. For example, despite the slowing consumption levels in China, four of the top 10 bestselling baby skincare products in Tmall, the largest e-commerce platform in China, during the Single’s Day promotion period were from Goongbe. Furthermore, the brand is accelerating its overseas market operation at full capacity, having registered eight products from the Pri-mmune line[2] in the Chinese National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) this year.
